This Shipping Policy applies to product purchases only made on the JOS Studios website. We do not sell services or memberships on this site.

Shipping Policy - The Basics 

This Shipping Policy applies to product purchases only made on the JOS Studios website. We do not sell services or memberships on this site.
 
1) Processing Times

  • Order processing: Typically 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding Ontario/Canada statutory holidays).
     

  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM Eastern Time are processed the next business day.
     

  • During peak periods (product launches, holidays, promotions), processing may take longer.
     

2) Shipping Methods, Fees & Transit Times

  • Carriers: We ship via major carriers and postal services (e.g., Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, DHL; availability varies by destination).
     

  • Fees: Shipping fees vary by carrier, destination, weight, and dimensions and are calculated at checkout in the displayed currency (typically CAD).
     

  • Estimated transit times (after processing):
     

    • Canada: ~2–9 business days
       

    • USA: ~4–12 business days
       

    • International: ~7–21 business days
      Actual delivery times depend on carrier operations, customs clearance, weather, and other factors outside our control.

       

We reserve the right to upgrade or change the carrier for operational reasons at no extra charge to you.

3) Tracking

  • When your order ships, you’ll receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking (if the selected service provides it).
     

  • Tracking details may take up to 24–48 hours to update after the carrier scans the package.
     

4) Split Shipments & Out-of-Stock Items

  • We may ship items separately to expedite available products.
     

  • If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will ship it as soon as it becomes available or contact you with options.
     

4A) Pre-Orders — JOS N-95 Hair Oil
When JOS N-95 Hair Oil is out of stock, you may place a pre-order.

  • First-come, first-served: Allocation is based strictly on the timestamp of successful checkout. First to pre-order gets the JOS N-95 oil.
     

  • Charge at checkout: Your payment method is charged at the time of pre-order.
     

  • Estimated ship window: A target ship window will be shown on the product page and/or in your order confirmation. Timelines may adjust due to production and carrier constraints; we’ll email updates if timelines change.
     

  • Mixed carts: Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items may ship separately.
     

  • Address updates: If you need to update your address before your pre-order ships, email refund@jos-studios.com as soon as possible.
     

  • Refunds: Pre-orders are final sale and follow our Refund & Replacement Policy (no refunds; manufacturing defects or carrier damage are replacement only once the product is received and inspected).
     

  • If we cannot fulfill: In rare cases of supply interruption, we will contact you with options consistent with our Refund & Replacement Policy.
     

5) Address Accuracy & Delivery Issues

  • Please confirm your shipping address before checkout. We are not liable for delays or losses due to incorrect/incomplete addresses or for unclaimed packages.
     

  • If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we can reship to a corrected address once additional shipping fees are paid.
     

  • Order edits/cancellations: Once an order is placed, we begin processing promptly and cannot guarantee changes or cancellations.
     

6) Risk of Loss & Title

  • Risk of loss transfers to you when we deliver the package to the carrier.
     

  • Title to products passes to you upon full payment and handoff to the carrier.
     

7) Damaged or Defective on Arrival
If your order arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please follow our Refund & Replacement Policy (Replacement Only):

  1. Email refund@jos-studios.com within 7 days of delivery.
     

  2. Include your order number, a brief description, and clear photos/video of the issue and packaging.
     

  3. Keep all packaging until your claim is resolved.
    If confirmed, we will provide instructions for return/inspection and send a replacement (no refunds).

     

8) Lost, Stolen, or Marked “Delivered”

  • If tracking shows “Delivered” but you didn’t receive the package, first check with household members, neighbors, building management, and your local carrier depot.
     

  • If still missing, contact us at refund@jos-studios.com within 7 days of the marked delivery date so we can start a trace with the carrier.
     

  • Packages stolen after delivery or mis-delivered due to address errors are not the responsibility of JOS Studios. For higher-value orders, consider signature-required shipping if available.
     

9) International Shipping, Duties & Taxes

  • We ship to select international destinations. Duties, import taxes, brokerage, and customs fees are the customer’s responsibility and are not collected by JOS Studios at checkout unless explicitly stated.
     

  • Customs inspections may delay delivery timelines. We cannot control or expedite customs processes.
     

10) Shipping Restrictions

  • Some products may be restricted or prohibited from air shipment to certain regions due to carrier or regulatory rules (e.g., ingredients, volume limits). If a restriction affects your order, we’ll contact you with options.
     

11) Shipping Promotions & Thresholds

  • From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping promotions. Terms (regions, order minimums, exclusions) will be displayed on-site when active. Promotions cannot be applied retroactively.
     

12) Packaging & Sustainability

  • We strive to package orders securely with suitable materials. Packaging may vary by product type to ensure safe transit.
